2026 General Aid Eligibility Criteria

Read the terms carefully and make sure that you qualify for aid.

• Application Holder: The application must be submitted strictly in the name of the head of the household.
• Income Limits: The maximum net monthly income must not exceed 150 OMR for the primary breadwinner and 25 OMR for each additional dependent.
• Employment Requirement: The breadwinner and all working-age dependents must be currently employed.
• Property Ownership: The family must not own land with a total combined value exceeding 10,000 OMR.
• Priority Categories: Priority is given to families with orphans, the elderly, widows, divorced or abandoned women, individuals with disabilities, and those with chronic illnesses.
• Laid-off Workers: The termination of employment must have occurred within the past year. The applicant must provide official proof that they are not receiving unemployment benefits from the Social Insurance Authority.
• Prior Assistance: Priority is given to applicants who have not previously received aid for the same request from Al Jisr Foundation or other charitable organizations.
• Submission Deadline: The fully completed application and all required documents must be submitted within two weeks of receiving the form, otherwise, the application will be automatically canceled.
